~Maureen Dowd, the columnist of the NY Times, writes a rare non-political column, and ironically it turns out to be one of the most popular she’s ever penned.
~The topic: what kind of man is worthy of marriage. She cites a 79-year-old priest to make her points.
~ The priest’s advice synchs nicely with Dennis’s own published views.
~Here are the columns (column one, column two) Dennis wrote two years ago on questions you want to ask yourself about your prospective spouse.
~We should have our friends help be vetters for our potential spouse. As a friend, don't trust when a woman says about her boyfriend, "...but you don't know him like I do." That's a warning sign that the guy is trouble.
